How does Fixed Mastering work?
To get started, please send a message via the Track Submission page or through the Contact page. You will receive a confirmation reply within 24 hours from one of our staff. During this stage, we will review any other necessary details of your project and direct you towards the payment process. Full payment or partial deposit is required for work to initiate.
When we receive your music, we will evaluate the mix to determine if it's ready for mastering. If any changes are needed, you will be notified. At this point, please let us know if you would like for us to wait for a new mix or to proceed mastering with the already submitted mix.
If you're a new customer and need further info prior to committing, we can provide you with a partial clip of a test master of your track. If approved and you decide to proceed with the project, a full version will be available to download upon payment confirmation.
After mastering is complete and payment verified, we will send back a dropbox link with all the deliverables as indicated under the "Formats" section of the Track Submission page.
What is your turnaround time?
3-5 business days. If you need it completed sooner, please let me know and we can work together to accommodate your timeline.
What formats do you master for?
Mastering for most major formats is available - Digital, CD, Tape, and Vinyl. Please note, physical formats can incur an additional charge.
For streaming distribution, you will receive a platform-compliant master, so that the quality of the master is not compromised when uploading to various streaming platforms. We are also certified by Apple to provide Apple Digital Masters. This is an additional process where we take the necessary steps to ensure that your music shines its brightest on the Apple Music platform. For DJs and performers we will also provide a loud performance master, in addition to distribution ready masters.
Let us know how you plan to distribute or perform your music, and we will provide you with the required masters. Hint: Use the form on our Track Submission page.
Legacy formats will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
In what formats should I submit my tracks?
Please send tracks meeting the following criteria:
.WAV or .AIFF files
Ideally 32 bit, if not possible then 24 bit with no dithering
Please bounce out at the sample rate your project is in. No need for sample rate conversion. i.e If your project session is at 48 khz, please submit a 48 khz 24/32 bit bounce.
How should I prepare my mixes before sending them?
Make sure the mix is not clipping on the master channel.
If you are using master channel processing (dynamics, eq, saturation etc) to shape your track, please send 2 versions - one with the master channel processing and one without it.
In both versions that you send, please remove any master channel final limiters that are used for loudness. Essentially, leave on anything on the master that’s for vibe, while removing processing that’s purely for loudness.
Check your mixes on various playback systems before sending

How do I pay?
We use PayPal Business, which gives you the option of paying with Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Paypal, or PayPal credit/financing (for eligible accounts).
We will send you an invoice after confirming your files, and payment is due before delivery of final masters.
Do you have a revision policy?
In the event that you are not satisfied with your master, we will revise any master free of charge up to 2 times, although the mix itself sets the limit for how much it can be optimized.
Any further revisions after the 3rd will incur a fee of $20.
If you are satisfied with the master, but still need to send a new mix, there is a reprint fee of $20 to recall the analog mastering chain for your track.
If changes need to be made in the mix to meet your final vision of the track, then we will notify you prior to mastering.
